Who We Are

Antilles Military Academy (A.M.A.), founded by Pedro Negron Echevarria in 1959, is the first military academy of the Caribbean, located in the town of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. It is a private, nonprofit school organization ranging from grades Pre-Kinder to Twelfth. The General Board of Education licenses Antilles Military Academy. Furthermore, Middle States Association and the Accredited Commission of Private Schools (CADIE) accredit the school.

The school’s vision is twofold: To prepare students for college entrance, and to motivate young people to become better citizens. Whereas, the mission promises an educational program with the necessary human and material resources in an environment that nurtures the acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and overall behavior that will enable students to meet the ongoing challenges of daily life within a democratic society characterized by constant changes and technological advances.
